So is IMAX worth it?

I want to go see 300 tonight and it's also playing in IMAX, having never been to an IMAX movie, I don't know if it's worth it drive farther and pay a bit more for the "experience" or just go see it at one of the closer new theaters playing it in digital (whatever that means).

Yep ... try to sit near the center and up a bit from halfway up, maybe just above the projector ..... you'll have a blast!

I've found IMAX is great for movies filmed for IMAX specifically, not so good for theatrical releases put on a big screen... the sound is sure great, but beware, some people have trouble with motion sickness when following action sequences on such a big screen.
