Walter:
Mania,

My ex wife tells me they didn't have Mother's Day in the Soviet Union. Personally, I never lived there, but she spent the first 30 years of her life in the USSR. Maybe things in Poland and the USSR were different?

I do hope your ex will not take it personally but - yes thanks God, things were and are different between Poland and Russia. We had communism only for not even 50 years and it was still a little bit easier one that the USSR's. And - to make the long story short :
ONLY 49 DAYS AND I'LL BE A MEMBER OF EUROPEAN UNION :bounce:

Mania

She hates communism and was very glad to leave. She still loves her birth place and the Russian people, but is under no illusions about the Soviet Union.
