I can't help but wonder how that got there...it's so strange. Maybe part of a yakuza hit?! :confused_

I had to look up yakuza.... I learn something new everyday on ScubaBoard.... I just wouldn't have guessed it would be learning about Japanese mafia!

I got a pepper shaker, otherwise just the usual trash. It was colder during the awards than the dive! Still, a great time.

My husband found a 14K ankle bracelet which I am now wearing! We both found coins which look HUGE under water, and of course, lots of trash.

Scottkl and his girlfriend pointed you out to us, PhotoTJ, as you were loading your gear into the taxi on Sunday afternoon.

Although Saturday was cold and wet, Friday and Sunday were beautiful! It was a fun weekend to be sure! We look forward to next year!

Sorry we didn't get to meet! Ah, well, lots of dives left!

Say, did anyone find a case with a pair of bifocals in it near the green pier? I lost 'em last summer and was out of the country during the harbor cleanup. Glad people enjoyed it... a good event.

There was a pair of glasses in a case found at green pier and so kelpmermaid may know whether they were bifocals and where they are now. I think they were brown plastic frames? Not sure.

And Kelphelper put them aside for you, but upon further inspection, the glasses in the case were not bifocals, just a pair of cheapie drugstore reading glasses, +1.25 ish. Disappointing, I know. Maybe next year?

Guess I'll have to continue through life blind as a bat (until I drop underwater). Thanks.
