So Cal Divers "On the Road Dive Report"

Would there be any interest from So Cal Kelp Divers to start a new sticky thread that would be used to report dives when they are on vacation, or like in my case working short term overseas? Posting on Pasley's monthly dive thread just doesn't quite fit in, mainly because it has nothing to do with diving in So. Cal.

Has anyone else thought it would be more appropriate to only post local dives on the monthly dive report thread?

You've got a set of good points there. People might read trip reports very differently from dive reports. When I was at CoCo View in Roatan last year I posted a three part report, each covering about eight dives. But the reports also dealt with the resort, travel, etc. I still get questions about the resort on this board.

Its one thing to say I dove Vet's or Shaws last night with my buddies and we went to XX ft. and saw the usual things - very different describing your first trip to another country and the 12 or 30 dives you made there under unfamiliar conditions.

But seriously, I would like to see a seperate thread in the SoCal forum where we could read about our locals exploits outside of SoCal.
