Forgive my yankee ignorance, but what is a dry slope?

Ah come on, its better than not skiing at all, or losing your skills a bit between the white stuff dropping You just wear gloves and a long sleeved sweater and jeans and you are good to go - you much just rug burn easilymunkispank:no jonnythan- you can't really carve very well- I mean you CAN kinda, but its not like the real thing. And it hurts more than North Carolina blown snow which has been packed and refrozen for four weeks with a layer of ice or two !!!!
I was dragged back to this memory of burns on my arms which were akin to carpet burns at the very dry slope in Plymouth mentioned by simbrooks. It almost put me off boarding for life !!!
