current is no problem for us as we dive the Niagara River in Canada quite often, how is the visibility? is it the same as Key Largo or Marathon reefs?

It can be, the vis can go from 100'+ to 0, sometimes in one dive but it averages 20-30' most of the year. The wind has more of an affect on the vis than it does on the reef because you are so close to LOTS of shallow water with mud bottom. Yesterday the vis was 4', 3 days before that it was 0' on the east end and 10' on west end. this summer it was 30'+ almost every day (I live not to far from BH and go to the beach there all the time with my kids) I recommend it to anyone who has dived strong current, right now the tarpon are running and there are big schools of them under the bridges, and they are cool to see, so are the big sharks that eat them:wink: .

The south side of the old Flagler bridge has some nice snorkeling, better than what I've seen at the actual Bahia Honda park (Atlantic and Gulf side ..but the current is too strong). Came across to a large school of Snook this July; also noticed many stony corals on the wall.

Can't go wrong with the actual park though (lots of life in the flats). INMO that's the best beach in the continental US.
