I just thought I'd share this... just because. We were at Xel-ha in October, my hubby and I were snorkeling and the rest of the family wasn't interested in the water. We had some of those cheap dry bags with us, so I suggested that we stick our radio (you know the walkytalky things) in it and I would just tie it on... and we'd see.


Too funny. Well, it did work, didn't get wet and we could not only hear them when they called us, but were able to talk back through the bag. I know they advertise these sorts of situations, but I never seriously thought about doing it. but it worked great. I will admit the first time they called us it took me a few minutes to figure out what in the world I was hearing underwater!!! haha
 
Interesting. I may have to experiment...
