I am wanting to go to gilboa in the next week or two. What will be the likely conditions? Temp? Will a 3mil wetsuit be enough?
Thanks

Hi,

I'm with you on going to Gilboa. Heck, I'll go there throught November if the are temps are what they are today. I had plans on being there this morning, however, I couldn't because I had finish up on some paperwork from last night.

Next weekend is out because I'll (I hope) be at Circleville both days.

The weekend following may be good, depending on the weather.

I think the water will be cool for the next three or four weeks, but still divable when wet. (I hope)

Randy

which is better Gilboa or Circleville? I have only been to White Star

It was in the 60s in the top 40 ft at Gilboa yesterday. If that's 3mil fer you then go fer it :)

Gilboa is better. Circleville is pretty much just a big mud hole. The south quarry (mud pit) is at most, what, 22 feet if you lay on the bottom in the weeds.

Circleville is OK to get wet and it's a short drive from my house. I much prefer Gilboa or Portage over Circleville.

Hope that helps..

Randy
