... until I find myself in the big city and buy a few SS ones.
I get mine here.
Most folks I know do the same.

If money is a problem, start with brass and move over to SS as funds permit. As long as you're moved over within a year, it's really no big deal. you'll be converted long before the sharp edges would start to form. While I can understand the sticker price of buying a bunch all at once, if you can't afford $6 here and there, you're in the wrong sport...

If you can't afford $6 here and there--stop going to Starbucks and Burger King so often. Use that money to buy snaps.
Problem solved. :)

I hear you guys loud and clear. I just dont want to order SS and wait 2 weeks for them to get here. I got some brass ones and will buy SS when I travel to the bigger cities.

And if we had Starbucks or Burger King here, we would probably have SS boltsnaps.

have you been drinking or something????

nobody better come between me and my Burger King

I feel sorry for you guys.... Marine Grade SS 916 Double enders go for about $4 where I'm at and Bolt snaps go for about half that..... the money I save buys me Burgerking and/or Starbucks.... :D Besides, Brass pits....and that cuts my delicate fingers......
