"Small" leak on 300 Bar DIN valve

I have a bunch of dgx valves that don't have the bleed hole.
 
14/38 tanks in my garage have the hole.
Got to be a US thing. I've never seen a bleed hole on any valve, 300 bar or 200/232 bar. Where is it located?

Imagine the location of the Oring when the reg is screwed all the way in. It's even with that, usually at the 3 or 9oclock position.
 
This is the DGX inline valve, you can see the hole in the side

here in sweden most of the valves ive seen, on mine and buddies valves, have this hole
 
it's a 200bar pro valve. You can see the allen key in the middle.
