:shakehead: Bummer to hear. There's a good chance I'll be moving to Santa Rosa "Windsor area" in 2013 for at least the first half of the year. Was hoping the coastal sites between Bodega Bay and Salt Point would offer some good diving.

Then again, I am mostly a macro photo-og so anything more then a few feet of vis is enjoyable :D
Frank the vis is typically over 10 ft here. 20 ft vis is not uncommon. We have seen 40 ft on good days. Just North in Mendocino County we often see 40 ft and have seen over 80 ft. It takes me an 1:15 minutes to Fort Ross just South of Salt Point, and right around 2:10 to Mendocino dive sites. Usually we camp for the night in Mendo.
