You know, I'd second that motion concerning DA Aquamaster's posts.
I am already in his debt many times over.
I don't know that a "sticky" is possible and would be pretty devisive with other excellent posters but maybe a mail order pamphlet! :-)

I love a zombie thread, back from the dead...

I just started having the same problem on my reg after about 7 hours of use. I'm virtually certain it's the LP seat and not IP creep based on this thread and others.

I have just been adjusting the knob on my DR 2010 to cut off the minor leak, but I would like to adjust the orifice as using the knob to stop the leak does increase the work of breathing.

Is there a thread that goes into detail on the orifice adjustment? I searched but could not find one. I've peeked in the orifice and seen a plastic insert that looks like it is intended to be adjusted with a (wide) screwdriver blade but decided not to mess with it.

You have one of the few regulators where the manufacturer supports what you are looking to do. DiveRite service manuals may be found here: http://www.diveriteexpress.com/library/manuals.shtml You should be able to find appropriate instruction there. Good Luck & enjoy.

Hey, that's good news. Thanks, I never even though about the manual.
