Looking to stay warm without adding to much bulk or bouyancy. Has anyone used a sharkskin (lavacore or thermocline) with a heated vest or heated undergarments with their drysuit? Does having the sharkskin under the heated vest negate the benefits of the heated vest?

Thanks.

I use a lavacore under my drysuit for spring diving (72f). I don't have a heated vest as the drysuit+lavacore is sufficient for my purposes.

I have a lot of Lavacore gear. I don't use it under a drysuit. It does not breathe well enough. I'm much more comfortable in an inexpensive medium weight layer of Merino wool. Having sweat trapped against my skin by a layer like a Lavacore ends up making me feel colder.
