sk7 with end mount to DSS mount?

I'm looking to get an sk7 and stick it in a DSS mount. However, the end mount version is $10 cheaper at LP than the wrist mount. Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to remove the sk7 from the end mount and put it in the DSS?

I've done the same thing. No issues

I bought the end mount from LP and mounted it in a DSS mount. Use very warm water to help remove it.

The SK7 wrist mounted helped my navigation big time!
