As I sit in the airport at 330AM(Phoenix time) waiting on my flight to Roatan, the blue waters are calling my name along with a long nap on the flight. The late night packing stunk, but I made weight on both bags with 1.2lbs to spair in each.

I'm off for a 5wk visit with Coconut Tree Divers and I can't wait! This will be my first trip to Roatan and I'm soooo looking forward to it. I will try to post along the way, however; we all know that life tends to get in the way of things from time to time.

Day 1:
Arrived at the airport and meet up with Will from Coconut Tree Divers. Didn't make any real plans but wanted to go out for dinner some where. After making to my appartment putting and few things away, it was off to the dive shop for a COLD BEER! After having a few beers it was over to Sundowner's for a few more beers, what a great place to watch the sunset and to hang with the locals. After words it was off to dinner, I don't remember the place but it was something like the Curry House. All I can say is WOW!!! It was some of the best food that I've had! If you are going to Roatan and want to go some really nice then this was it. I will find out the name and post it later.

Day 2:
Diving!!! I did the AM dive at CTD and the diving was great. We saw a turtle, a few different shrimp, a Ray and a lot of other things as well. Over all the viz was great, no complaints from a guy who dives locally in 10-15 ft of viz. That was the only diving that I did today, had to come "home" and start all of my book work for the IDC.

I will working on posting more later, but the power issues and crappy internet connection makes that hard.

make sure your gear is dry for your flight back or you may not have the extra LB to spare..:D
