Bought SiTech quick cuffs since that is what Bare sells on their site for "all bare drysuits". Question however. I received them and their diameter is much larger than the diameter of the cuffs on my HDC Tech suit. I assume this means I need to cut the drysuit wrists off up to where the diameter is the same. However, before I venture down that one way path I want to get feedback and advice.

Are you the fellow who posted this on the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew FB page? Call Mike at DRIS tomorrow as was suggested. He’ll be able to help you.

By the way, when I put these on my drysuit, I already had the SiTech replaceable seal system on it. I just had to switch out the rings on my suit. That was it.

Yes I am. Just figured I’d cross post for the hell of it.

I plan to call Mike tomorrow. May even drive up to see him if needed. Just wanted to see if anyone else was running these and how they did it. I like to get all the info.

Got any pics of your setup? I’d love to see some photos of these installed.

Sorry, no pics showing just wrist of suit. Mine is packed up (trying to sell since I’ve lost weight and it’s too big).

Don't forget that you can always mount to the INSIDE of the ring. No need to cut back the suit until the ring fits inside the sleeve.

That's a very valid point.

I have one suit that has one sleeve that I could barely get a Quick Cuff inside the sleeve. The other arm was sewn slightly smaller and the QC wouldn't fit inside. On that suit, one is glued inside, the other outside. With the addition of some seam tape, you can't tell the difference without a very close examination. The important thing is that the install is 100% leak and maintenance free.
