I am presently in Siquijor in the Visayas, and I have to say that I fall in love with the reefs here more and more. The hard coral cover is healthy, and there is a good amount of very nice macro to look at and photograph. A lot of the anemones have one or a few kinds of crustaceans living on them, and the rich coral cover is a top hiding spot for a great variety of damselfish. Nudibranch-wise I have not seen anything very unusual yet, but there is a diverse fauna to admire.

I’m going back to Dumaguete next year. Last time we dived Apo several times but did not do Siquijor. Definitely doing it on the next trip.

BTW I thought that Apo was spectacular!
