I find it hard to believe that Mirazyme or sink-the-stink are specifically manufactured for scuba wetsuits. I'll bet money that it's a microbial formula used someplace else and some smart guy (or woman) re-packs it in smaller bottles then sells it as scuba specific odor-eater for wetsuits. Since it's scuba specific ( so we think ) we happily pay 6 times the price for the stuff we could get else-ware... if only we knew what it is.
Actually, MiraZyme is marketed to camping stores also. I bought mine at REI.

You're right. Dive shops get about 10 bucks a bottle of the stuff here in Ohio. How much does it cost in the camping stores?

I wash all my gear in spic-n-span, powder type, have for years and have never had any problem at all. It's real cheap.

There's something in the smell of STS that I'm addicted to.

Give me a little diesel smell mixed in and I'm ready to boat dive!! :D

Did they change the bottle? I remeber the botle being black
and a much "quieter" logo on it than the yellow one?

Bottle/logo doesn't really matter to me, just wanting to make sure
that the bottle below is the same thing I'm used to....

Actually that's the picture of the old bottle... the new one is black. Really the best deal on the stuff is when you get the whole kit they make. Then you get 1 oz Aquaseal
11/4 ox Sea Gold Anti-Fog
11/4 oz Sea Buff
2 oz Zip Care zipper cleaner
8 oz B.C Life
8 oz MiraZyme Odor Eliminator
8 oz Wet/Dry Suit Shampoo

all for under 20 bucks...
