and still single, and just not wanting to get caught up in these arguments... who wants to whine? Not me! I want to dive !

So watch out Cabo, because OHDiver and I are on our way in a week !! One of the benefits of this Board is that I have met some really nice people, good divers, people who you can invite on a trip to share expenses and dive with...

Would it be more convenient to have a separate forum? Yes. That way, when my "view new posts" doesn't work because I logged on to answer a PM and then immediately logged out, I wouldn't miss something that I might be interested in. As it is, singles posts are all over the place.

Do I care that a smaller group of people voted it down? Not really. It is their world, I just live in it... I am happy to have this board, I have used it for photography and gear advice, trip planning, meeting people and sharing my experiences. I don't want to "go somewhere else".

I do feel badly about the dissension, and although I don't like it when people make generalizations about "singles", I try not to take it personally. The energy spent in these arguments could be better spent elsewhere, IMHO.
