Don't I wish! This new crop is hella high maintenance...I don't know how you guys deal with it. Too bad you can't ban a couple to make examples of them..

...the more you whine, the more you prove my point! What happened to all the fun singles that used to be on this board??

They were a part of the larger community, they became active in local dive clubs where they were able to continue to meet other singles and interact with the larger body of divers...they didn't seem to think they needed a label in order to live their diving lives effectively...then a few came along who seemed to be on the whole entitlement and if I want it I should get it thought train...one of them even seems to spend all of their board time talking about their "business" interests under the guise of creating a community of singles...hmm...I wonder why that is.

I'm personally lobbying for several new forums which I have seen a need for...Canadian divers, Divers with university degrees, Left handed divers, divers who have a disability, divers who go to Church, divers who have experienced persecution for their choice of dive gear...there are a ton more too.

You left out "Divers with Chips on Shoulder", "Divers Incapable of Meeting People Without the Internet Where They Can Post Fake Pictures" and a couple others..

In our search for ensuring that no single minority or special interest group feels left out of the community at large...we need to move from an American "melting pot" model of immigration to a more Canadian "multiculturalism" model. Everyone can feel super special because their needs are looked after in an exclusive manner.

So...I propose we all start a new thread...groups who feel they need a new forum to effectively discuss their viewpoints and the viewpoints of those who love them.

IMHO, one of the biggest problems in our society (America anyway) is that all these "groups" feel the need to segregate themselves somehow and "feel special". It's ridiculous. You don't see me running around insisting I am a German American or wearing kilts to work because my ancestors were Scottish...what's the big deal.

My whole world just came crashing down...why would anyone purport to do such a thing...Mom warned me about this stuff...but I thought these were just stories made up by adults to scare us 13 year old Catholic School Girls away from here...
