Which shops in our area sell dry suits/do training in diving with them? I'm a little leary about buying one, b/c I can't stand anything pressing on my neck, and they seem to be designed to do just that. How uncomfortable are they? I'd like to be able to try one out before I make any kind of commitment.

Thanks,

Kristopher

take a look on ebay before you spend $ 2000 on a new drysuit. bought mine for $ 200 and is wonderful and comfortable

Take a look at ebay - but buyer beware. seals have a limited life and have a fit tolerance. Replacing latext wrist and neck seals is not cheap and usually not fast. Also be prepared for leaks. I know someone that got a shell suit (don't remember the brand) that looked to be in great shape, had seals that fit him, but leaked at the crotch seam which we found in the pool. If you can test the suit before purchase - do so. Also try looking at your LDS for old rental suits that are being sold. And Craigs list.
