go shopping along the Orchard belt ; we're having the "Great Singapore Sale" this month.. good discounts at the stores.. there's also 2 diveshops in the basement level of mall called Lucky Plaza that's in the centre of orchard road.. 1 day..? Awww man, u'll need at least 3 days or more..

If you're staying in Swissotel, check out the dive shops also at the Concourse which is a 10 min taxi ride away. Dive equipment in Singapore is real inexpensive here and you can get a VAT refund at the airport if your purchases exceed $300 on a single receipt.
