Hey everyone I got a mares bc and I'm diving with my drysuit I think i'm going to go with a plain backpack I know thier not recomended but as i'm going to be working then I figure I could use the less bulk by doing so.

The question is when I go to my wetsuit when the weather gets warmer should I use the bc or is there a way i can use the backpack?

Chris. :sharky:

If you refer to what I think you are, yes, you can use a simple backpack with a wetsuit; that's how it was done *years ago*.
You'll probably need to adjust the harness a bit though when you
change exposure protection.

Regarding BC with such you can use a "horse collar" or check
out SeaTec's line of "backpack mountable BCs".

So when you mean

"You'll probably need to adjust the harness a bit though when you
change exposure protection. "

do you mean take off some weight
I use 38 pounds on my belt and 5 on my feet
so going wet I should be ok with less?
I don't use much air in my drysuit just to kill the squeze.
