Ok, I've gone all over the internet...so confusing.

We need a shuttle service from MIA to FLL (Miami airport to Fort Lauderdale Airport). Our flight arrives in Miami at 11am and our FLL flight departs at 2.15pm. 3 years ago we did this and and just caught a shuttle without reservations.

Hubby is afraid with all of the "security" stuff going on we won't be able to do the same thing.

Couple of questions. Can anyone tell me if there is a municipal type shuttle between the 2 airports? Can anyone recommend a shared shuttle service? What about a taxi service or sedan service? Thanks.

Well - it'll be tight....

Are you going to have to clear customs first....?
Is your outbound leg domestic or international...?
Are you claiming\checking any bags...?

Assume 30 minutes to wait for any bags.
It's 28.2. miles - so at least a 30 minute drive.

Delta wouldn't even let me check a bag 26 minutes before my flight last week.
It took us 40 minutes just to get from the econ parking lot to the baggage drop.

Thanks all for the help. I actually found a great company, very professional Miami Aiport Shuttle. The rate was $79.00 for both of us each way. I checked into the $29.00 price on the website that ONESPEED recommended. It must be an old price. I asked the guy at Miami Airport Shuttle and he said that was the price to the cruise ships from MIA and it was per person and did not include the gasoline surcharge (when I checked ALL of the services had one, averaging 9.75%).

I'm happy with the price as they monitor my arriving flights, and then we call them once we land and when we leave customs, the driver is waiting for us. No waiting around for others, etc, just us. I will post how things went when we get back from our trip.

I thought she said - From MIA to FLL.

If time weren't an issue, you could catch the shuttle to the TriRail.
That has shuttle service between areas.
I frequently use the TriRail to commute from WPB to FLL and it costs $6.80 for the at long run.
Between Miami and FLL would be much cheaper.

TRI RAIL!
If you can make it work.
Way cheaper, but the timing may be off a bit for you.
