@uncfnp - Thank you for the trip report. Beautiful pictures.
We'll be at Fiesta Americana in a couple of weeks and I have a few questions:
1 - Is there somewhere to rinse your wetsuit at the resort?
2 - Is there a good place for snorkeling by the resort's dock?

Thank you.

1) No rinse tank but there are outdoor showers at the beach. We had a room with a second full bathroom so we designated that space for our gear. Couldn’t soak the suits but they got a good rinse.

2) We were on the top floor so it was a flight of steps down to 6th floor and down the hall to the elevator to the main floor. Then out the front entrance past the pool and down steps to the road pictured. Across the road and just a few feet to the entrance to the buffet. Just past that is the dock. I would say less then 10 minutes at a leisurely pace for us.

3) 6:30

4) Yes, we tipped in US dollars and they were readily available at the bars and restaurants but the ATM there only gives pesos.

5) Yes. Right in front of the beach area. There are several access points. We did not snorkel but several guests mentioned that it was very good although they all complained of jellyfish during the morning hours.

Thank you very much for the added info 🙏
