I tried looking at the FWC stuff on Friday but in their wonderful wisdom they seem to have limited to no information regarding them on their website :shakehead:
 
Just to be on the safe side, it wouldn't hurt to have your saltwater fishing license on you if you caught one. You don't need the lobster stamp for shovelhead or Spanish lobsters, though, just for panulirus argus.

I know the boat has a Federal permit, but I will clarify if he has state coverage as well.

No need to have an unnecessary chat with the FWC :crafty:
 
Regarding the boats licence....just remember that the Capt and crew cannot take a limit. Read into this what you like but just don't have more limits than fishing licenses.
