Thanks for the advice. Since I will be diving more in dirty/cold conditions I will probably go to a sealed diaphragm reg.
 
Just get yourself an IP gauge to be able to track that. Its more of a critical failure mode on a diaphram reg.
 
On my doubles, I now use Scubapro Mk25AF/S600 with an R380 as my primary with a Mk25/R380 as my secondary.

Alright, What exactly does this mean???? You have an Mk25/S600, with an additional R380 on it used as a primary? What configuration are you diving exactly?

It kinda sounds like you just want new regulators. If so, do what makes you happy, but I don't think the Apeks will be any better than the Mk25.

I am using xtx 200's as primary and secondary and xtx 100 for stage...I love the regulators but as others have said, Scubapro makes excellent regulators. I see no need to change.
