Could you please expand on that? I have problems with the D9 compass underwater, but I can't figure out if it's my fault...
In my case, I can't keep the compass "ON" continuously while underwater in Dive Mode... It's a PITA...What problems have you experienced?

I carry a SK-7 compass as well and the D9 seems always a little off...the re-calibration procedure is a PITA and so is the fact that it will not stay on. It's also way to sensitive in my opinion.

Cheers.

Wow! I don't check the board for a couple of days, and come back to alot of great info. Thanks gang! My first watch was a VT pro. It did great for it's first couple of dives. One day I did a dive to 110ft and all was well. On the second dive of the day, I checked my watch around 15ft and it was filled with water. I bought it locally from scubatoys and they set it up, so I never had a reason, nor did I open it before the dives. Anyway I took it back to scubatoys, they remembered me as a customer and without hesitation replaced it with an atmos elite. (why I like buying from my lds) The atmos is a great watch, easy to read, handles depth no problem, etc. The problem I have, is it randomly loses sync with the tank transmitter. And I do mean random! I figured going with the suunto, supposedly being the pinnalcle of over-engineering, that I would not have a sync problem. Of course I'm a little concerned after reading the post about this very issue. Hopefully it is just a settings issue like another post suggested. Anway thanks for posting Brett. I had been looking at your website concerning the d9. And thanks again, for all the responses.

Richieg, Your welcome, I’m here to help, and of course I think it’s hard to go wrong with the D9!
