I have a group of people through our shop that are looking for a place to go camping with SHORE diving nearby with interesting things to see... and no more than 7 hours from Ann Arbor. They are kind of local celebrities and would like a secluded place They go to Tobermory every year and are looking for something similar to that.

I thought of Munising instantly, but they want to stay away from charters... any other ideas from anyone?

1. 7 hours or less from Ann Arbor
2. Shore Diving
3. Camping close by (preferrably secluded)

Thanks in Advance for your help

Ditto Diver Lori.

I haven't dived the St Clair river, but I was impressed by the video that Bruno's Dive Shop posted on You Tube:

Rich, look into Kelly's Island on Lake Erie. There are a few shipwrecks near the State Park on the North? end of the island. I haven't dove them and they are shallow, one sometimes sticks out of the water, but it's a great island. Kelly's is really laid back and fun with a nice beach, campground and trails. Also good food over there.

Marquette Mi... Lake superior...My favorite shore diving...Black rocks the Cove, lower harbor wall, little presque isle....diving around the ore docks!!! there is camping 3 minutes away from the lake at Tourist Park in marquette. PM me if you need some more info...I spent 3 years there and know the aera well.
