We are staying at Carib Blu, but diving with Christi. Is it a problem renting tanks from Blue Angel to dive in front of the hotel? I wasnt sure if they "frowned" on it since we were diving with another op that week.

Don,
We spent a few nights exploring out there and even went past the marina thing (tough swim back from that one).

I really like the night dives in front...even did the "lights off and wave the arms to see the bio-luminescent stuff glow" trick.

We did the shore dive also, but we took a cab south to Papa Hogs dock. Jumped off the dock swam out about 50 ft to the rock pile and drifted back to the dive shop. Also did the same plan but snorkled at night saw lots ao small squid got inked by them in our lights and also an octopuss. I have some pics of the shore dives if you are interested.

Yes, please post your pics of the shore dives. We plan on doing some shore dives when we are there in April. I want to use the time to practice some photo skills while not paying for a dive trip.

If you have 3 or 4, thumbnails can be loaded here using "Manage Attachments" - 200 Kb max per pic, I think.

Or you could create an album on Photo Gallery. Just ignore the mistake on the instructions on Photo Gallery and load in 2 MB max zip files.

If you want to use Photobucket, there is a Message Baord setting under Upload Options.

I posted some of my pics in the gallery just click on them by my profile check them out if you like. I dont have much of a camera below 25 ft but they came out ok.Pm me if you have any questions.
