Shore dive locations for kelp beds around Melbourne?

Are there any shore dives that could give me access to some kelp beds around the Melbourne area?

I read that between Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff there is a drift dive along some kelp forests. Would this be accessible from the shore, and if so, from which point exactly? Cottage by the Sea in Queenscliff?

Would there also be any more kelp forests elsewhere? Geelong? Altona? Black Rock?

Hey,
Not sure about any kelp beds available as a shore dive, Cottages by the sea is a nice dive in the right conditions however no kelp beds there.
Dive Vic have charters that occasional do the Kelp beds, They depart from Portsea and Queenscliff
