I have a Blizzard second with the metal fins and yes it does work.

The blizzard model is for cold water, correct ?
I am diving on Greece so no cold water here! Therefore for me is better the oasis!
I just return from a dive.
I test a scubapro A700 second stage but i also used a little bottle of water! My mouth and throat was ok but i can't tell about the metal regulator because of the water bottle! I used it twice! The first time i almost get drown but the second time i manage to drink very easy! So from now on i will carry the little bottle!
