FYI I just changed my clock and it didn't affect the compass.

Maybe it wasn't the clock.

Odd it would change by 60º from one day to the next with nothing but the time changed.

If you haven't, I would email Shearwater about that. They have a policy to respond to every customer email. Further, I imagine they would actually take some interest in your report, not just give you the polite brush-off.

Right. RMV is not in the Oceanic computer itself (at least, not the one I have). It's in the desktop computer software.

What sort of desktop software from Shearwater are you using?! I have the latest version of Shearwater Desktop 3.1.5 installed and it has no way to input cylinder sizes or calculate RMV.

I was actually talking about the Shearwater Cloud app.

But, I will call myself out right now. I was, apparently, full of crap on that post. The app does show tank pressures (start and end) and it does have a place to enter the tank size (on the Gear tab). But, as far as I can tell, it does not actually show the RMV.

Rather than try to make excuses, I will just say I was wrong. My apologies.

MacDive does it.

Subsurface calculates RMV (but calls it SAC) and does the calculation using compressibility factors and bar <> atm.
