Oh man, I've got a night dive planned at Breakwater this Saturday... That and it seems like white sharks are nocturnal.

At least I'll have a cool story to share if the juvie decides to make an appearance.

I'll be there as well. The more the merrier and the better the odds:D

Yep, we will be on the Silver Prince on Sunday. I will be at the Breakwater Saturday morning. Come on over and say hi.

Heard a couple reports of injured pinnipeds in the area today. Apparently there was a seal on a Beach near Grand Ave in Pacific Grove (near Lovers pt.) that appeared to have injuries similar to a shark attack, and also a sea lion at break water/coast guard pier with large gashes on its side.

I'm sure glad our sharks down here in SoCal are laid back like the human population. I hope they stay that way! On occasion we see sharks take sea lions, or find floating carcasses of their prey. However, they don't seem to bother us divers... right?

Yes, they leave us alone, we don't taste very good with all that equipment.

And the hard bits on our backs give 'em gas and indigestion!:D
