If you take out the stupid diving maneuvers (a few people die on air over 200 feet), it's really just about finding out which sub it is...Sorta boring... I felt they were desecrating the remains of those German submariners. But they were seeking FAME, and look now, they have a movie!! I guess everything is working out well!!!Sean

Wow where to begin..... Oh ...never mind...

What title search company do you use to make sure no one died on the wrecks you dive?

I dive Jersey wrecks 2 or 3 times a month and I would guess except for a few insurance fraud sinking's most ships sank as the result of some calamity resulting in deaths...

divebuddysean:
I cannot read between the lines for you. Do you think they would dive this boat and risk their lives so many times just for self-satisfaction? Sean

Absolutly... I don't know about San Diego but off the Jersey, New York, Rhode Island shore there are hundreds of named wrecks but still dozens of un-named wrecks... I've been on many boats over the years where divers outfitted with doubles and slung deco bottles, plan multi stage deco dives in hopes of finding some artifact for the mantle or identifying the wreck....

And a bunch more that would rather shoot dinner with a spear gun or pick up a lobster rather than buy it wrapped in plastic.

Simply because we'd rather do this than play golf or tennis on the weekend.

Uhhh. Why can't you do all three?
Because one of them is golf. ;)

mini golf count.?

LOL - One of my sisters played earlier in the week with our niece, nephew and her own son. The four year old kept putting her ball a couple inches from the hole and shot from there. The nearly three year old thought he was supposed to keep dropping his ball into the water. The one year old would run and retrieve anyones ball when they hit it the "correct" way. I'm sure it was frustrating but is laughable every time I think about it!

Ah, you made me remember another movie:

The Big Blue with Jean Reno. It was about free-diving but it was still a good movie.

.

Oh yes, forgot about that one. That had a scene in a diving bell. I also loved the homemade commercial diving gear from the beginning of the move. Good show.
