Yeah, the 28% nitrox I seem to be diving most of the time locally is also not very DIR either, nor are the steel 130 doubles in the ocean.

I'll look really hard and see if I can find one for you!
Soggy:I decided to forgoe putting a knife there and put a set of sea snips in it's place. Personally, I can't think of a situation where that tiny knife would be preferable to scissors, especially in cold water with thick gloves. I don't think my way is officially DIR though
I know of at least one GUE instructor that carries Sea Snips on her waste band. I also do so.
