Senate passes internet sales tax bill - will this impact where you buy gear someday?

Just buy a small property in New Hampshire (or other sales and income tax free state) and ship everything there - have a friend or relative forward it along. Better to support private industry and pay shipping than government industry and pay taxes.

I hope this bill does not pass. First, unless there is some type of harmonizing of laws and rates it will be a nightmare for medium-size businesses. Take for example Leisurepro, they would need to collect and remit taxes to each state with a sales tax on a monthly basis. Second, they would also be subject to audits from all 50 states. I am sorry this is neither cheap nor easy for businesses.
