Please ignore my previous post - forgot which thread I was in. Thought you were going to Cayman.

You had me all freaked for a second... Never heard of water temp of 86 in the Channel Islands.

Same here! Water has been warm recently, but that would have been a very pleasant surprise indeed! :-)

1. Well in advance of traveling, type a list of all the scuba gear you have with a check box beside each item. Print the list and use it as a guide to pack for the environment you are going to be diving in. I have used this list for several years and it helps me pack for every dive trip. Be sure to include your passport and certification cards on the list, as well as meds you may need. Complete your checklist from your favorite lounge chair and then start the packing process with a checklist to mark off items when they are put into you bags.
2. Small plastic hooks/hangers (to go over a door) for hanging towels, clothes etc. this will make you cabin a bit more organized in tight quarters.
3. Small clips like those for chip bags for a multitude of things. They came in handy on the last trip to secure the curtains in our cabin.
4. I also like to pack small hard candies or starburst candies to have after a dive. Helps to get rid of dry mouth.
5. Be sure to leave infomation on your destination with flight information and dive operator information with someone at home in case of emergency.
