Second stage issue

Hi there,

For some reason I cant unscrew the front ring off of my RG2500 second stage. Any suggestions?.. Warm water?

I had the same problem with one of my 2nd stages this past winter.
I put the aluminum ring in a vise and clamped it down , then turned the body.
All it took was a little more hold than I had in my hands to unscrew the ring.
Note: I first put some tape around the ring so I didn't mark it up with the jaws of the vise.

Any luck? Sounds like there might be sand in there. Warm water should help.
