I work for one of those large industrial companies that is struggling to stay viable and I may get a shot at one of those early retirement deals.. If one comes up, I have the idea that it would give me an opportunity to start a second career in the scuba industry.
So I'm hoping that some of you can suggest ways for me to work and contribute to the industry.
I'm a relative newcomer to the sport – three years 100 dives – and in my late 50's so I think that training to be a divemaster or instructor is not the best way to go. Maybe something in the distribution or wholesale end. I do have relevant experience for that, but in other, similar industries.
Any suggestions? Ideas for training, etc.?

Consider moving to the phillipines, renting a dirt cheap warehouse, hiring a few mechanics and opening an online scuba shop ...its becoming the wave of the future...NAFTA's on your side and there's only online few major players so far...

OR consider opening up a DIR_F training center....they are few and far between...

The luxurious playboy mansion..

Talk about being into your work! Long hours, constant distractions, STRESS! :D
