I tried locating the Sebastopol on Sunday without success, but we did find the Volunteer about 1000' away. Have any of you seen the Sebastopol in the last couple years? I was thinking that it might be buried in the sand.

About three years ago I saw it. It should be straight out from the wooden stairs about 500' into the lake. I don't think it is buried as there was a ton of debris and stuff. But all of the wave action inside the breakwall could cover parts of it up. We saw plates and other things I couldn't make out on the bottom. Only sits in about 10 feet of water. I can see how you could miss it, the viz really sucked the last time I was on her. Maybe 5-8 feet. I remember this wreck as it was my longest dive at the time. 115 minutes with my double 100s.

How far up from the bottom was the parts of the ship?
