I seem to be having a problem getting good forum search results with an acronym like OLF (for Oxygen Limit Fraction). This is a term used by Suunto with their dive computers. Searching for OLF results in zero hits. By manually walking through the posts in the dive computer section I found some posts with OLF in them.

So I tried CNS and got zero hits. And I tried DIR and got zero hits. I know there are quite a few DIR-related posts here.

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature. In any case, I enjoy reading posts on this site. Keep up the good work.

I believe this is a problem with mysql's fulltext searching feature, extremely common words like the, and, if, but, or, etc and of course dive terms like DIR get 0 points in a search and thus don't show up. Hopefully in a future upgrade this will be fixed.
