Diver's body found and recovered
BANGKOK: — After six days of underwater and surface searches of the Ratchaprapa reservoir by Thai and foreign divers, the body of the missing diver was recovered today (Thursday) after it surfaced from the bottom of the reservoir.

The decomposed body of Mr Chayut Thipchit, a diver of Sattha Surat Thani Foundation, emerged at the site he went missing six days ago when he joined a team of divers to search for Mr Prachit Saisema, a fisherman who went missing and believed drowned after his boat collided with a tourist boat.

Rescue workers took the body to a pier of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and handed it over to his family for funeral ritual.

The body of Mr Prachit is still unaccounted for and divers today continue their searches.
