Sealife SL960 flash Problem. Charging but light does not show up

Hello there,

I have this problem where the READY light indicator will never turn on. I can hear the high pitch noise of flash charging, but it does not become ready at any point in time. I tried to put the switch in TEST mode, but it won't flash.

Any ideas out there. I am pretty handy with voltimeters and soldering if needed.
