Morning everyone.... I have been doing alot of shopping and what I want and what I can afford are 2 different things it appears.

I am seriously considering the DC310 pro package from sealife. My question is does anyone have some pictures they could send me from this camera? I am looking for a few of them full size, not scaled down or cropped or color corrected to check them out for printing purposes.

Thanks,

Is there a particular feature of the DC310 that you like? For roughly the same price you could get a Nikon Coolpix 3100 and a Fantasea housing, with flood insurance. The Nikon is a much better camera. For not much more you could also get a Canon A70 and matching housing that would be even better.

Don't get me wrong. The Sealife housing looks nice. The camera that goes into the housing does not look very good.

Those will do great!!!! thanks Suprbugman!

All of these were taken with the DC310. However, neither I, or my roomate, responsible for these pictures are very good at photography...yet LOL

Those are all raw, unmod'd pictures. Apparently they can be cleaned up quite a bit with image editting software.

The Sealife housings are pretty nice, but the cameras are made very cheaply by Vivitar.......you can get the 3 meg pixel camera at WallMart for only ~$125.

After owning the DC310 for only 2 days, I took it back due to the cheapness and little or no controls you have over it.

I'd highly recommend you go a different route, and I second the Fantasea housing with a Nikon Coolpix route for the same dollars you'll be spending, you'll be getting a 400% better camera.
