I just don't log dives
Hi there,
I was just doing a regulator inspection on a Sea Elite Scout (same as Edge Nano) and it failed a negative pressure test by leaking from the diaphragm (the primary passed fine). Anyone know how to remove the cover to see if there's some debris or something in there? It has a funky layout and I don't want to break anything.
TIA

I got an answer to my question today by getting on the chat with Divers Supply.
In case anybody else is looking for this info, just above the exhaust valve on the air inlet side there's a little pin that looks like an allen screw. All you need to do is lift this pin away from the reg and then twist the purge cover off about 1/4 - 1/3 turn and it should come right out. Here're a couple of pictures to help:

Thinking about buying a set of the nano for my kid(s). Hard to beat the price but do they perform well?

We bought a Scout Compact/Nano octopus as a replacement octo, and it has been performing well.

We originally bought the Scout BCD + Reg set deal (great deal) and upgraded the main reg (1st stage and Primary 2nd stage) to the balanced Covert reg for $75, and it has been a great breathing reg set (have had to 122 feet). However, from reading reviews it seems a lot of people really like the basic (non-balanced) Nano/Scout Compact as-is.

Pretty hard to beat the value on these.
