It will die unless it gets to a power plant release...should already be far south. i think only leatherbacks can handle this temp.
 
Yep, just bought the Go pro 2 (which i'm still learning on) or I'd have been labeled a bit kooky. That old adage about always having your camera ready is true...just pure luck. Guy at the dive shop there at the Casino just about called me out on it..lol. I saw another Sea turtle about 35 years ago in Long Beach harbor in the summer but this guy was really an outlier because of the late season and chilly water.
 
I think I mentioned earlier that snorkelers in Lover's Cove had been seeing turtles there during the late summer and early fall. Just a hop, skip and a jump from there to the dive park so I had no doubt this sighting was real.
