Hi Everyone, I just received an email from Sea Shepherd and they will be holding a fundraiser at Water Course Foods in Denver, CO on Monday January 24th between 7am 10pm.
Watercourse Foods holds a weekly fundraiser called Non-Profit Mondays where it donates 10%-15% of its profits from a given Monday to a select local or national non-profit organization that focuses on the environment, education, or animals.
During most of the day and for the entire evening, local Sea Shepherd Denver volunteers will be present to talk to patrons about Sea Shepherd and the issues currently facing our oceans. Donations are appreciated, and printed materials and merchandise will be available.
Here is the informational flier:

I might head down a little after 6PM if anyone is interested in meeting me there? I thought this would be a great way to meet some local divers in the area, as I am new to the scuba community and always enjoy meeting new people and making new dive buddies. Plus, we get to learn more about what we can do to support Sea Shepherd and protect our beloved ocean habitats and wildlife! Hope some of you can make it there.
