Sea Air Tri Metal Harmonics

Hi Mike,
My one year old tri-metal reg started to make loud whistling sound while on a diving vacation. After I came back to US, I gave the regulator for an overhaul. The tech yesterday told me that, "The reg is rebuilt but there still is some (not as bad) harmonics. My suspicion is it's the piston spring but I'm waiting on a call back from XS Scuba"

Could you please suggest what is ailing the reg ?
