From me to Suunto:
Hello. How do I get SDM to import SDM 1.6 logs properly? Also, my new dives do not download in the correct order. Please advise.

Response (Sandra Walker) - 01/30/2007 02:22 AM Dear Sir

Thank You for contacting Suunto.

First of all we recommend you to download the newest betaversion from the following link: http://www.suuntocampaigns.com/software/SDM/DM_Update_2.3.2.145_Beta.exe

After that follow the instructions:

It is possible to import logbook files created with versions 1.4 to 1.6 of Suunto Dive Manager into your logbook.

To import dive logs:

On the main toolbar click File and Import.

In the Import dive logs and items window select either Import from Dive Manager 1.x or Import from text file depending on the format of your old logs. Click Next.

Click Browse and navigate to the location where your old logs are. Click Open.

Select the items you want to import from the list. In addition to dive logs it is possible to import dive gear, locations, sites, dive masters and weather and visibility. Click Next.

After Suunto Dive Manager has imported the files click Finish.

Suunto Dive Manager will organize the imported logs and items automatically under folders in the Logbook window.

Tip! If you select a folder in the My dives folder when importing dive logs, Dive Manager will automatically make shortcuts from the imported dive logs to this folder. All dive logs will be imported to the All dives folder.

The problem with the order should be possible to correct with the following instructions:

Choose in the User-settings-window "Dive Log" and set
#1 Dive number
#2 Dive date/number
After that press "set".

With Best Regards

Suunto Helpdesk
